Buddy League Learn-to-Play Division
What is Challenger
Baseball...
Challenger Baseball is an adaptive baseball program offered in partnership with the Jays Care Foundation designed to empower children and youth living with cognitive and/or physical disabilities. This program teaches children and young adults (5 +) the core life skills inherent to baseball, including: teamwork, communication, determination, resiliency, inclusion, support and courage. Our Buddy League Challenger Baseball program ensures every participant has the opportunity to play in a fun and safe environment where they learn to become more independent, build confidence and self-esteem, improve their communication skills, and set and achieve their own personal goals.
Is Challenger Baseball for me?
Stepping up to the plate for the first time can be intimidating. Buddy League's Learn-to-Play division is designed for those first-time ball players who could use a little extra help building up enough confidence to hit that first home run or catch that first fly ball. Our Junior and Senior divisions focus more heavily on baseball gameplay!
New to the game, or simply looking for a fun way to build some confidence out on the diamond. Buddy League is for you...
